I'm on my new computer and it is so foreign to me right now. It's funny how you get so attached to your computer. I mean I love this one, it is so much nicer then my other one. I just feel clumsy on it. it will take some getting used to I suppose.

Nothing could be more fun then to run your fingers through tons of buttons and costume jewelry. I love these little treasures. I never throw anything out without first examining it's goods. I love antique buttons and appliques. I love to reuse, up cycle,re-cycle or salvage and redo already done items. I love the challenge of experimentation. I let the tiny treasures speak to me. I never know what will go where until it happens. T hat is the great mystery of design. Here is some of the wonderful treasures I just received from a dear sweet Ravelry friend.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE MAKE ME A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE

What can be so difficult about making a really good cup of coffee. I have 3 coffee makers and yet I still haven't adopted the skills to make a decent cup of coffee. I have tried for years to achieve that Four Star restaurant coffee. You know the cup of coffee that is served to you after a really deliocus dinner with really great people that you enjoy being with. Whaa whaa whaa, OK forget the dinner the family the friends. I just want a really good, no GREAT cup of coffee...Is that too much to ask. Any suggestions feel free to post.

It has arrived...

My computer is home at last. Boy, what the heck did we do before we all had all the luxuries of electronics. Better yet, our kids would be clueless, (or maybe not). Well I'm just happy to have a computer here at last...

The True Missing Link…This project has been extremely interesting. I used the original “MY EX” pattern as a base. I then did all the facial features by needle felting them. I used roven wool for the hair. The ear plugs we’re made by using large size stitch markers (plastic) as a base. I then crocheted them. For the opening of the mouth. I cut a hole. Then I created the mouth, lips and teeth. For the crown around the base of the bag. I took a left over piece of felt and cut it in a long straight piece. Then I cut triangles on the top part. I sewed that to the forehead. I then took more roven wool and completed the hair piece. Braiding three uneven braids in the front. The embellishings are endless. Oh and I almost forgot the barbell nose ring. Now we can’t forget about that…The handle is being made by using the same tecnique I used for the earplugs.

I am so happy to know that the Curbing Kit and the PBS (pill bottle swap) boxes are on it's way. I always feel a bit overwhelmed when I know I have a time limit. I am the type of person that usually waits till the last moment and then gets it all done. Not with sales but with my swaps etc. So I have a great feeling of accomplishment today that all my obligations for now are up to date. How boring is this post...

PBS (No, Not Peanut Butter Sandwich)

It is almost dried. That is the pill bottle for my Pill Bottle Swap recipient. I have everything ready to go inside and with it. Just waiting for the sealer to dry. I hope she likes what I',m sending. This 2ND Annual PBS is a mystery exchange this time. I like that better. I think it makes it extra special for the person who is giving and receiving. I can't post to many pics yet, I don't want to give it away who I'm sending too. I will post some pics soon.

Just keeping things going as best as I can...I have been working out harder then ever, OK well not harder then ever, but more then I have been. Spring is here, and summer is just a few pounds away. Gotta reach the goal I set for myself this winter. I am almost there. Steady girl.

The Left Brain Is Alive

No words to explain how I did what I did yesterday. In fact even if there were words I wouldn't be able to write them down. Why you say, because I have no idea how I did what I did. Huh! I know that this will only make sense to the people who this will only make sense too. You know, those people, you people ( not a racial slur, ask me about that if you want to know what I'm talking about . That's another story in itself. Just mention San Bernadino, CA. Paintball tournament. Designated parent for a bunch of stinky teenage boy's). I actually came out of a Left Side Brain Coma. No disrespect to any person suffering or has someone suffering from a coma. I had to put that in. I just had too. I figured out an actual technical thingy on my Ravelry site. It took me nearly 4 hours, Adderall, and a lot of WTF, or HTF (how the F bomb), did I get here or there. I got there and that is the point. I probably will never know how to get there again, but I know that I was capable of figuring something out, that comes so easy to other people without a doubt.

SUNDAY THOUGHT IT WAS MONDAY

Don't ask me why,because I don't know. I woke up at 5:00, thought it was time to go. I sat up and starred at the cable box clock. Thinking, my G-d, oh I must go get dressed. Running late will ruin my day, cause Monday's important. It is our TRASH DAY.

Dried and Chapped

My hands, that is. Today I feel as if I have accomplished a task that was so long over due. Not completely accomplished, but for sure put a big dent in it. My Mom and I rolled up our sleeves and pulled out bags and bags of yarn that was is need (and deserving) of being sorted and separated. I enjoyed seeing all the yarn that I had long forgotten about. I am so stunned at how much yarn I really had/have. I will be ready to post some of these yummy yarns as soon as my med's kick in again. Till that happens over and out.

Wow, I'm actually going to meet a real, yes real human being today...Kelley Graves is here in Vegas with her husband and they are staying at the Venition Hotel...I have already talked with her twice and we have been making plans to actually get together and meet in person, yes IN PERSON...I will be bringing my camera for proof that I actually 1. left my house and 2. met a human being...lol

I am seriously starting to think that I will be sick for Forever. I don't have any energy...I am sitting here with an earache, sore throat, chest pain and headache...took 2 tylenol pm's and still no relief. I know I'm talking to myself and I'm not even listening...One day the generation after me will possibly read these postings and think what a whiner I am...Truly I am no whiner, because I'm only whining to myself. Thats allowed. Isn't it...

sick sicker sickest...

yuck yucky yuck yuck...this sucks, so much for a healthy resistance...could it be that i don't take as good care about myself as i claim too...ummmmm...yeah...now it has literally spread from one kid to the other and it just seems to dig in deep and settle...i don't mind the normal OK it's that time of the year for the FLU season, but this is obsessive...what else is new...if only my ears didn't hurt, oh and my throat, my skin, my hair, my fingers and toes...i hope i feel better this week...

But, but, but...

But what...Butt head with an extra T...I once again started to Lax in my blogging...Catch up...Last week I was in the emergency room due to ovarian cyst...Serious pain and none stop funkyness all over. Yuck take these ovaries out...I am now feeling much better with that problem and now sick with the flu...In fact the whole house is sick with the flu...Been doing nothing but sleeping eating and blogging...That is it for now and I will come back when I have something as boring as this to post...

I just don't have that much excitment in my life to string others along with me...So obvisiously these postings are completely self rightous...I'm trying to sell my yarn on ebay, etsy, ravelry, and where ever else I can post my sales...

PASS THE JEANS, PLEASE

I thought this would be fun… Here it goes…I am going to take a pair of plain jeans and I am going to mail them to who ever signs up for this experiment. The idea is for each person that receives the jeans, can either embroider, sew, bead, paint, iron, quilt, needle felt, design, etc. something onto the jeans and then mail them onto the next person on the list. You can keep the jeans anywhere from 1-3 day’s to create your design idea…Then mail them on to the next person on the list, and sew on and sew on. What do you think…Ya’ all up for this challenge? All in fun…If this is a successful Pass-Along then anyone who has participated in this project will be on the list to send the next pair of their jeans… Here are some ideas…
